Internship / Co-Op

The Company

Founded in 2004, Kymanox is focused on facilitating effective and efficient knowledge transfer.  In fact, the name Kymanox was derived from Greek and means Ideal Knowledge Transfer™.  The company specializes in technology transfer and related services within the Biopharmaceutical Industry.  Professional project management and networking are also an important focus for the company.

The Internship

We are seeking interns with energy, talent and a desire to learn.  Due to the company’s size, interns will have unique opportunities to become familiar with several aspects of running and developing a business.  Depending on the individual(s) selected, duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Information Technology Services
• Engineering Template Creation
• Industry Research
• Newsletters
• Training Programs
• Technology Testing and Evaluation
• Sales, Marketing
• More

All responsibilities will be within the realm of biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Kymanox interns are paid a living-type wage and are offered the opportunity to gain insight into a young, growing company.  Additionally, interns are able to develop relevant networking opportunities and references for full time employment after graduation.

The Requirements

You must be able to commute to Gurnee, IL four to five days per week.  There is ample parking at the Gurnee office.  Exact work hours are somewhat flexible and will be dependent on assigned duties.  Candidates must interview with Kymanox President and Manager, Stephen Perry.  Preference will be given to chemical engineering and other technical majors, though all majors are encouraged to apply if you feel you have something to offer and see the program as a good fit.  Note: background checks are preformed prior to intern selection.

The Timing

The internship may begin after your college classes finish and may continue until classes resume. Arrangements should be made during the application or interview process if unpaid vacation time is required.
